Cleaning Computers

Computers, much like everything else, eventually get worn out over time. They become dirty and filthy over time and must be cleaned every now and again. This will not only help the computer good as new but it will help it function as if it truly were new. You must monitor the cleanliness of your computer constantly. You must make sure it is clean in order to make sure that your computer is functioning in the best capacity possible. Here are some tips you may find useful when cleaning your computer.


  1. Make sure to pay close attention in order to not move or alter any knobs or controllers of the computer. Also, double check to make sure that you have not accidentally unplugged any plug-ins of the computer as well.
  2. It should go without saying why you should not eat food, drink beverages, or especially not smoke near the computer.
  3. Make sure that the computer is turned off before cleaning.
  4. If you need a liquid to clean a component of the computer, never spray or spill the liquid on directly. Remember to put the liquid on a cloth first.
  5. Be wary of certain chemicals as some can cause harmful allergic reactions.
  6. Stop fans from spinning before cleaning them in order to prevent damage and injury.
  7. Do not use a vacuum when cleaning the inside of the computer in order to prevent creating any static electricity that can cause damage to your computer.
