This is what search engines are for. Naturally, most of you reading this are already familiar with many of the famous search engines like Google or Bing and have tried them before. However, simply using these tools does not automatically solve the problem. It can still be awhile before you find something on the thousands of links that pop up by simply typing in one or two key words. If you are going to use search engines and hoping to conveniently find what you are looking for in fast time, there a few key tips that you should know about using for search engines before you begin.

You might be able to find more success if you type in as many terms as possible. Describe what you are looking for in the best detail you can come up with.
  2. Try using the + sign when describing to or more words that are related to each other. It will help narrow the search down. The links most likely to appeal to what you are looking for will be among the first to appear. It will be a huge saver of time.
  3. Also, if you want to find another a way to save time, try using the - sign when you want to dismiss anything unrelated to your search, but however contains similar key search terms. It will trim the excess fat among the links and get you to where you're going without wasting your time.
  4. You can also help to narrow your search down by using quotation marks around exact phrases.
  5. If you are looking for a website similar to another one that you are already familiar with. Try typing in "related:" followed by the name of the website.
  6. Don't forget to click on advanced search in order to narrow down your options based on date, country, amount, or language, or any other types of criteria.
These options will help you on several search engines, not just Google.
